PCB products all need to use circuit boards, which circuit boards have good or bad quality. What are the common problems we see with circuit boards? We summarized it and contacted friends in need for reference.
1. What material is the green part of the circuit board made of?
The green oil is green oil. It is paint with some chemical solution. The main purpose of the solution is to prevent PCB from being oxidized. The effect of paint alone is not very good. The main function of green oil is to insulate copper and platinum.

2. Is the thing on the circuit board that looks like a resistor but is in the shape of a cylinder a PCB resistor? What is the difference between a resistor and a PCB resistor?
Color ring inductor (with color ring) or diode (generally black and red) is like a resistance but in the shape of a cylinder. Color ring inductor is rare. It is a regular cylinder with low resistance; The secondary tube has the guiding conductive property; In addition to their different shapes, the main difference is that their functions are different;
3. When the copper in the green part of the circuit board is electrified and heated too high, will the green material part and the gray material part be melted? What is the maximum temperature tolerance?
The copper sheet is under the green oil in the circuit board, which has good conductive characteristics. Generally, the circuit with reasonable design will not generate too much heat when it is energized. If the circuit is abnormal, the excessive current flowing through the circuit board will generate high temperature and burn off the green oil and copper platinum. Generally, the maximum temperature resistance of the insulating material is 130 degrees when designing the circuit;
4. Is there a rectangular black thing on the circuit board a resistance or an integrated PCB or something?
The rectangular black things in the circuit board are not resistors, but integrated blocks;
5. Does the width of the copper sheet in the green material on the circuit board matter?
The width of copper and platinum under the green oil on the circuit board depends on the current passing through. If it is too narrow, the impedance will be large, which is easy to heat, and if it is too wide, the cost will increase;
6. How does a circuit board store information?
To store information on a circuit board, a memory (integrated circuit) with read and write functions is required. Some memories need long-term power supply to maintain memory functions (for example, the BOSS chip on the PCB main board is powered by a button battery).
